Arkansas Rice Depot

This ecumenical entity provides free food to approximately 300 hunger and homeless agencies throughout Arkansas.The United Methodist Church is the Rice Depot’s largest denominational supporter, and assistance from St. James is crucial. C.A.L.L (Children of Arkansas Loved for a Lifetime)

Camp Aldersgate

This tree-shaded United Methodist Camp facility in west Little Rock provides traditional summer camps and weekend respite camps for children with special needs; weekly activities for senior citizens, and summer mission work opportunities for youth and adults. Canvas Community United Methodist Church

The community is a missional United Methodist Church located in downtown Little Rock that specializes in ministry to the poor. Habitat for Humanity

Habitat builds low-cost, affordable, quality housing for people who may not otherwise be able to own their own home. St. James contributes financial support and volunteers through the local chapter in Little Rock. Little Rock Compassion Center

Methodist Behavioral Hospital

This is a residential facility committed to providing extended care to children ages 5-17 with long-standing emotional and/or behavioral problems. St. James contributes toward school supplies and provides gifts at Christmas. For more information visit their website at www.methodistfamily.org.

Our House

Our House is a shelter and training program for homeless families. St. James serves meals to 30-50 people once a month and provides monthly financial support. For more information about Our House visit their website here.

St. Francis House

This is an ecumenical outreach dedicated to feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, easing the suffering of the sick and imprisoned, and responding to the cries of God’s troubled children in Arkansas. Rock of Hope

Rock of Hope is a new nonprofit in Little Rock, Arkansas, that is helping homeless people take the steps to get off the streets and move back into society. For more information about Rock of Hope visit their website here.  

Stone Soup

Stone Soup is an United Methodist project that feeds the hungry each Sunday at Quapaw Quarter United Methodist Church in downtown Little Rock. St. James provides the primary source of food, cooking and serving this meal on a regular basis.

Women and Children First
